Welcome to the e-learning course “Individual assessment – a gateway to a child-centered justice

The FOCUS e-learning course is designed to build knowledge and capacity of professionals so that they  know, develop and use multidisciplinary individual assessment procedures with children involved as victims and as suspects/ accused in criminal proceedings.

The course aims to raise awareness among professionals working with children in contact with the law about the importance and obligation to undertake individual assessments, to ensure the rights of children are fulfilled and their needs met and to provide them with some key conceptual and practical tools to use individual assessments in their own practice.

The e-learning is a self-paced course consisting of reading materials, videos, case studies, quizzes and recommendations.

A certificate of participation is available after completion of the course.

The e-learning course is available in English, Bulgarian, Dutch, Greek, Serbian and Romanian.
