Compendium of international instruments to juvenile justice

This compendium is dedicated to justice for children. It aims to promote juvenile justice based on four pillars of the global protection policy for juvenile offenders: prevention, promotion of living conditions favourable to children, protection and justice, as of the realisation of children’s rights and their vulnerabilities, including the requisite of child-friendly system. Therefore, this compendium gathers all international instrument which contains all crucial elements for juvenile justice, such as international conventions regarding children’s rights as well as general comments involving with children in conflict with law. Also, it emphasises that deprivation of liberty must be the last resort for juvenile offenders.
